Pinstripes of the Past: On June 3, 1932, the New York Yankees played the Philadelphia Athletics at Shibe Park. The Yankees won 20-13 and Lou Gehrig was the biggest star of the day, hitting four home runs in one game. He was the first player in the 20th Century to hit four home runs in one game and remains the only Yankees player to do so.
