Correction:
At the first part, first bar, at the 4th beat please always play an E with the left hands pinkie for one beat instead of the C I played in the video, I missed this originial voicing when I did the tutorial, sorry, so to be really accurate and like the original please amend the left hands playing here. Thx.

Additional Info regarding your fingering:
In the New York live recording and the Making Of John plays the alternating rhythm pattern between the single C bass tone and chord tones E,G just with the right hand and with the left hand a one finger base or an octave bass, but it is is easier and better to learn it the way I show it in my video.
But it's up to you of course.

And also please note:
John actually does not play the D with the right hands little finger during the little lick explained at 3:48.
Instead he plays the G with his left hands little finger.
D is a harmonic overtone of G that is why we hear a D allthough not played. I added the D especially for electric pianos wher the overtones of the G do not ring the D strings. At the end of the road it is your choice to play the D or not . If not, just play a G /C Base in the left hand instead of a C/C octave. Thanks to  Lander Vervaet and John Lennon Fanatic for your input!

Important:
Remember that people love to sing this song, they just do not recall the lyrics by memory.

Print out the lyrics 5 or 10 times and bring them to the next invitation/party and play the song on the piano.

People will love to sing along. It is a great experience.
Enjoy playing it it like the original!

All The Bes!
