This video explains JSF Request Processing Lifecycle with its block diagram.

Definition of JSF:
It is an MVC framework that allows Web developers to implement UI (User Interface) for Java Server applications.

JSF application lifecycle consists of six phases which are as follows:
Phase-I: Restore View (RV)
Phase-II: Apply Request Values (ARV)
Phase-III: Process Validations (PV)
Phase-IV: Update Model Values (UMV)
Phase-V: Invoke Application (IA)
Phase-VI: Render Response (RR)
