#Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru awarded degrees to a total of 669 students on the convocation day organised on the 17th of August 2019, in the campus. The contingent of students who were awarded the degrees belonged to Amrita School of Engineering B. Tech (493), M. Tech (93), Ph. D (3) and Amrita School of Business, MBA (64) and EMBA (16). In addition, there were 13 gold medals and 11 silver medals awarded to the students for their academic excellence.
The Chief Guest, was Dr. K. Sivan, Secretary, DDS/Chairman, ISRO. The Guest of Honour was Sri. T.R. Parasuraman, Dy. Managing Director, Toyota Industries Engine India Pvt. Ltd. Poojya Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri, Treasurer, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, in his Benedictory Address laid emphasis on compassion, love and humility that add worth to life. Br. Dhanraj, Director of the campus welcomed the dignitaries on the stage and the graduating students, and Prof. Rakesh S.G., Associate Dean, School of Engineering proposed the vote of thanks
