It’s been a year since Russian tractors rolled over the border into Ukraine. Since the start, India declined to take a hard position on Russia’s Special Military Operation. New Delhi has been clear that India will act only for its own strategic interests. As a result, New Delhi is today in a unique position – as a friend of both Russia and the West. This road, over the last one year, has certainly not been an easy one for India.
