* The year often cited is 1966 (for example, please see the Criterion Collection and its blu ray release of the 183-minute cut, as well as the Passion According to Andrei, at 205 minutes).  

Hopefully, later on this channel, I will have the opportunity to talk in detail about this film, and at such time, I hope to discuss where possible the different versions.  In the meantime, please enjoy this video.
