Although Richard Milhous Nixon was
Although Richard Milhous Nixon was born in Yorba Linda, he spent his childhood in Whittier, California. He attended Whittier High School and Whittier College, then started his law career here as well. His first law office was in the National Bank of Whittier Building in Uptown Whittier.
His family owned several businesses in the area as well, including a service station (gas station), restaurant/bakery, market, and drive-in restaurant. Follow along with us as we discuss Nixon’s connection to Whittier, including the original Nixon scandal BEFORE Watergate.
