How To Setup the PCSX2 Emulator on macOS Monterey

Hello everyone! This tutorial is going to show you how to setup the PCSX2 emulator on macOS Monterey. PCSX2 will allow you to play PS2 games on the Mac.

1. Please launch the Google Chrome web browser.

2. In the search bar please type in PCSX2 and push the "Enter" button.

3. Please click on "PCSX2: Home".

4. Please click on the option that says "Latest Nightly".

5. Please click on "Qt.tar" ( This will download the macOS version of PCSX2).

6. After PCSX2 has finished downloading please go to the "Downloads" folder on your Mac.

7. Before you can use PCSX2 you will need to unzip the file. In order to unzip the file please double click the PCSX2.

8. Now, for the next step, we will need to get the PS2 BIOS. In order to get the BIOS file please launch the Google Chrome web browser.

9. Please type in "PS2 bios download internet archive" and push the "Enter" button.

10. Please click on "Playstation 2 (PS2 BIOS): Free Download, Borrow, and"

11. Please scroll down and go to the section that says "Download options" ( This section is located on the right side ).

12. Please click on "Zip".

13. After you've clicked on the "Zip" the PS2 BIOS will begin downloading.

14. After the PS2 BIOS file has finished downloading please go to the folder called "Downloads on your Mac.

15. Please double click the PS2 BIOS file that has finished downloading ( This will download the BIOS file ).

16. After the BIOS file has finished downloading please launch PCSX2 ( You will need to launch the file 2 times in order to launch it ).

17. Please drop the BIOS file into PCSX2.

18. Please download PS2 ROM.

19. Enjoy the game!
