Ingredients:
200 grams of milk
50 grams of oil
7g dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1.5 tsp salt
150 g wheat flour type 405 and a little more for processing
150 g rye flour type 1150 or 960
50 g roasted onions
1 tsp spice (oregano, basil)
water for brushing
Preparation:
Put the oil, milk, yeast, flour, rye flour, sugar, salt in a bowl. First mix and then knead until a dough is formed.
Add the fried onions and spices and fold in.
Form 2 rolls (each approx. 35 cm) from the dough, twist them together and place on the prepared baking tray or baguette tray. Cover with a tea towel and let rise for 10 minutes. Bake the baguettes in a cold oven at 200°C for 40 minutes until the desired browning is achieved.
Let cool on a wire rack and serve.
