Carbohydrates and Lipids [IB Biology SL/HL]

This video is about the structure and function of carbohydrates and lipids. We cover the structure of function of carbohydrates, with specific examples of monosaccharides, disaccharides and polysaccharides. We also cover the structure of function of lipids, with examples of lipids such as triglycerides, phospholipids, steroids and waxes. Condensation and hydrolysis reactions are examined for both saccharides and lipids.
