The power of passionate learning: Solving real problems right now | Beth Stevens | TEDxYouth@Moncton

Beth Stevens talks about the power of passion fueled learning and how it has made an impact on her life. She also explores why it is crucial to teach solutions to real problems to kids in the classroom. I am a student in grade 9 who attends Riverview High School. I enjoy playing many sports such as Field Hockey, Volleyball and Ice Hockey. I also run a small business called “Beth’s Bike Light”, we create bicycle safety lights that give drivers a visual of how much room cyclist need on the road. When I’m not playing sports or running my business you can find me outside hiking with my family and my dog Sam, or making lights for current generation! In my TedX talk, I will be talking about the importance of teaching real issues in the classroom, and I’ll be cracking a few corny jokes!
