Per esempio: “Mi lavo i denti tre volte al giorno”, “Faccio sport due volte al mese”, “Mangio la pasta tre volte alla settimana”, “Vado al cinema quattro volte all’anno”.

In Italian we use the preposition “a” plus the correct definite article to talk about frequency.
For example: “Mi lavo i denti tre volte al giorno” = “I brush my teeth three times a day”, “Faccio sport due volte al mese” = “I exercise twice a month”, “Mangio la pasta tre volte alla settimana” = “I eat pasta three times a week”, “Vado al cinema quattro volte all’anno”= “I go to the cinema four times a year”.
