Learn how to remove and replace the base enclosure for the HP ENVY 15-ed0000 x360 Convertible Laptop PC series.

Follow these steps to remove and replace the base enclosure for the HP ENVY 15-ed0000 x360 Convertible Laptop PC series:
- For removal, remove the two rubber feet from the base enclosure, and set them aside for later replacement.
- Remove the six P1 Phillips-head screws that secure the base enclosure to the top cover.
- Remove the one T4 Torx-head screw at the front of the base enclosure, that secures the base enclosure to the top cover.
- Starting at the top edge of the unit, carefully separate the the base enclosure from the top cover.
- Remove the base enclosure.
- For replacement, place the base enclosure into position on the top cover.
- Apply pressure along the edges to reattach the base enclosure to the top cover.
- Replace the one T4 Torx-head screw at the front of the base enclosure to secure the base enclosure to the top cover.
- Replace the six P1 Phillips-head screws underneath the rubber feet, to secure the base enclosure to the top cover.
- Replace the two rubber feet on the base enclosure.
Caution: Improperly installing or replacing parts could damage your HP device or void your warranty. Before replacing any parts, check your warranty.
