Logger Vick is assigned to dig up some ginseng for his boss. Herbert Diggs takes it that Logger Vick digs holes around to try to steal his radishes. Later Briar and Bramble figure out that Vick is in fact looking for ginseng so they swap Diggs’ radish for ginseng. After Logger Vick gets raked over the coals by his boss for getting him a radish instead of ginseng, he goes to avenge on the bears. Briar gets caught. In order to save his brother, Bramble cheats again by handing Vick a fake ginseng. Later, Herbert Diggs and the bears unite to teach Vick a good lesson. The bears can’t find the ginseng and demand Vick for it. Vick spots something in Herberts’ soup. He believes that’s the ginseng. He snatches it and runs away. But what Vick takes away is only radish. Herbert has the real ginseng. He found it in the forest and took it home to add to his radish stack. The bears are excited at the news and plant the ginseng back to the field.
