Hidden in the forest between the villages of Tobel and Braunau lie the mysterious ruins of Heitnau Castle (alternatively: Heitenau). Why was a castle built here in the Middle Ages? Who were its inhabitants? Together with medieval archaeologist Miriam Derungs, we embark on a journey into the past.
The documentary was produced in collaboration with the Thurgau Archaeology Office.
