Netflix's Avatar the Last Airbender live-action adaptation is in hot water right now for seemingly ruining the meaning of the series, from misinterpreting Sokka's sexisim, Katara's gender issues, why Aang took detours, and saying that animation is only for kids. We thought that M. Night Shayamalan's adaptation could be as bad as it gets, but it looks like it could get worse.
