VENOMOUS BOX JELLYFISH. Catching & Eating

This video I created during recent trip to an island east of Sabah.
Box Jellyfish, sometimes known as seawasp, scientific name Cubozoa; Chironex fleckeri use its powerful venom to instantly stun or kill prey, fish and shrimp. Their venom is considered to be the most deadly in the world, toxins that attack the heart, nervous system and skin. Human victims have been known to go into shock and drown or die of heart failure before even reaching shore.
Anyway, they are a delicacy here, mainly among the Kadazan, Dusun people.
