In the latest version of the game, the European Nation is building up its firepower. The wild temper of Italian medium tanks will be balanced out by the Nordic durability and cold anger of Swedish heavies. This branch features five tanks with diverse armaments ranging from classic cannons to guns with autoreloaders or magazines. Check out these Swedish warriors and prepare to lead them to victory!
Tier VI Strv 74
The Strv 74 is a medium tank with a narrow hull, a high silhouette, mediocre mobility, and a quick-firing top gun with high damage per minute. Its 148 mm of penetration with a standard shell enables it to confidently damage the sides and vulnerable spots in the front of the enemy's hull. The high hull, 10-degree depression angle, and thick, sloped gun mantlet make the Strv 74 a perfect fighter for hilly terrain.
Tier VII Leo
The moderate armor and low max speed of 45 km/h don't prevent the Leo from being an excellent tank for providing fire support. That's because its powerful gun isable to inflict 290 HP of damage per shot. Just like the British Chimera, the Leo is perfect for positional combat that takes advantage of cover or the terrain. Deal impressive damage, change position, and repeat—this is a sure-fire winning formula!
Tier VIII Emil I
Both the stock and top guns of the Emil I inflict 960 HP of damage per magazine, and they reload with the same speed: 3 s between shots and 23-24 s between magazine reloads. The top gun features better penetration. This tank has great
armor as the sloped upper glacis plate of the hull and turret is able to survive hits from even the most powerful guns. Thanks to a 10-degree depression angle, the Emil I can effectively fire from behind hills while its extra sloped armor lets it confidently block damage. This tank has only one drawback: the Emil I is slow, just like a well-armored heavy tank should be.
Tier IX Emil II
The stock Emil II greatly resembles its predecessor. But in its top version, this Swedish tank becomes a whole other vehicle as it gets a gun with an autoreloading mechanism. With it, the Emil II transforms into one of the most dangerous tanks on the battlefield. In seven seconds, it can release three shells to deal up to 1,200 HP of damage before switching to the classic firing mode and reloading in 11.7 seconds. Featuring 252 mm of penetration with a standard shell, it can inflict damage with every shot and send enemies to the Garage at a shocking speed.
Its sharply-angled hull and sloped armor easily withstand hits from guns with 230–250 mm of penetration. The most important thing is to hide the lower armor plate. Don't sidescrape and don't get too close to the enemy.
Tier X Kranvagn
The Kranvagn is the direct evolution of the Emil I and II with all of their advantages and drawbacks. More HP, more turret armor, higher crossing capacity on all terrain types—these are the differences between the Kranvagn and its predecessors.
The turret armor was increased 50 mm compared to the Emil II, so not many enemies will be able to penetrate it even with Premium shells. Using its 9-degree depression angle, the Kranvagn can occupy a position in hills and go hull-down to make its armor even more sloped. If that's not enough for you, you can enlarge its HP using provisions like Sandbag Armor and Enhanced Sandbag Armor.
You'll be laughing while watching the enemy try to inflict any damage at all as you send tons of shells in response. The Kranvagn received a slightly reworked gun withthe autoreloader of the Emil II. Its penetration was increased to 258 mm with a standard shell and 340 mm with a HEAT shell while aiming and dispersion were slightly improved and the loading speed of the second shell in the magazine accelerated. Reticle Calibration will make this Swedish tank a real sniper that can prove useful for firing from long distances. The 1,200 HP of total damage per magazine remains, making encounters with the Kranvagn very painful!
Despite the improved crossing capacity, this vehicle is still quite sluggish. Add the Improved Engine Power Boost to consumables to escape a dangerous situation or quickly get to your target.
