Necromonger Empire Origins - This Merciless Cult Wants To Kill All Humanity For Promised Underverse

Vin Diesel’s role as convict Riddick in the 2000 film ‘Pitch Black’ is known to be one of his personal favourite roles. The budget of the film might not have been huge, but the sheer intensity of the plot with all of its twists and turns caught the audience’s eye. Speaking of the plot, Riddick had survived a spaceship crash on an alien planet alongside a few others, and the planet was home to monsters sensitive to light. Riddick was not only stronger but also capable of seeing in the dark because of his “eye shine” characteristic, thus he became the survivors’ messiah for their time on the said planet. A David Twohy  creation, the Necromongers, and their Empire were a critical part of the whole universe in the Riddick storyline.
The empire itself was quite religious and had its own religion, Necroism, that they followed quite fervently but with a “touch of violence” involved when it came to practicing and preaching it. Fanaticism would perhaps be the right word since their beliefs about life were simply at the polar opposite end of the natural state that the universe is settled in. Any opposition to the idea meant death by their hands.
