For patients who were unable to have nipple-sparing mastectomy, nipple reconstruction can be performed as part of the breast reconstruction process. If desired, the reconstructed nipple and areola are later tattooed to add color. This video shows the creation of a 2D nipple-areola tattoo. 3D tattoos are also an option.
