Dangerous Mutants, Deadly Anomalies, and
Dangerous Mutants, Deadly Anomalies, and Radiation are all hallmarks of the STALKER series. But what seems like yet another "radiation causes mutation and strange things" trope, in actuality is much deeper, and much more sinister. A group of secret scientists have discovered that Earth indeed has a sphere of thought - the Noosphere - and it can influence not only primitive animal minds but those of thinking humans. In order to safeguard their research, defense mechanisms of unimaginable horrors safeguard their meddling in forces they barely understand.
In subsequent videos, I will dive even deeper into many facets of the zone. It's creatures, anomalies, artifacts, characters, and equipment all deserve further explanation.
