MOUNTBATTENS VISIT BIKANER

(2 Feb 1948) The recent visit of the Governor General and Lady Mountbatten to the Maharaja of Bikaner was like a State occasion. During his stay Lord Mountbatten invested the Maharaja with the Knight Grand Commander of the Star of India.
