How to Make a Super Effective Float Rig for Spanish Mackerel

Here is a detailed tutorial where I walk you through step by step, how to make a cork rig for spanish mackerel. The float rig is super effective in the surf, off a pier and when boat fishing. The ability to quickly adjust the depths make it great for all applications. In the video, I show you how to add a bobber stop to your mainline, I then go through the progressions of adding the cork, the sinker, swivel, leader and finally a long shank hook. The long shank hook really helps prevent bite offs, I recommend using lighter leader in the range of 30 lbs to help increase strike ratios.
