Burmese classical song- Thachin Gyi.ယမုံနာ Instead of Myanmar traditional instruments, this version was recorded for the first time with piano accompaniment by Gita Lulin Maung Ko Ko in the mid 1960. This version divided opinions among Myanmar musicians- traditionalists thought that Myanmar classical songs should be accompanied by traditional instruments only and not by piano. This beautiful, idyllic song is about scenes on Yamonar river and the longing for the beloved's company.
