Immigration Minister Andrew Giles will join his state counterparts Tuesday to discuss the country's migration overhaul.
The Ministerial round table is set to discuss how each state can streamline the visa system process to address these skill shortages as well as boost each economy.
The aim is to give each state a say in how it addresses migration moving forward.
The federal government wants to ensure that the immigration overhaul addresses how each state is dealing with migration.
They also want to ensure it addresses population, housing and infrastructure in each state.
The Albanese government is hoping to halve the number of people coming into Australia within two years.
