In this hands on tutorial I will show you how to add your own data to an OpenAI Assistant using the OpenAI Assistants API, the OpenAI Knowledge Retrieval feature, and the OpenAI Files API. I integrate the Assistants API with Notion to keep a customer support chatbot on my website up to date with the latest information. It's like having a custom GPT on your website!
Announced at the OpenAI DevDay, GPTs and the Assistants API are powerful new tools that allows you to easily build AI assistants which can use tools and retrieve relevant knowledge. Under the hood, the assistants use RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) to answer questions with this knowledge.
