A short video showing the WEDI thin base intended for zero clearance curbless showers.
The base is naturally contoured to drain where ever the preinstalled drain system is (they have linear drains too).
The rabbiting system receives the wall panels which get embedded in the WEDI sealant ($24/tube!) and all joints get the sealant.
Had I known we were using this system, I could have decreased the size of the shower by an inch and a half and saved myself the $200 (1ft x 5ft) extension panel that I only used 1inch by 4ft. Oh well.....live and learn and spend money on the education.
I had help installing with a fellow contractor, Andy, who has installed over 15 of these systems. Thanks Andy!
