Heated Steering wheel retrofit DIY
Heated Steering wheel retrofit DIY on BMW E90 M3. Some add-on electric devices are turned on when the car key is switched to “ignition,” e.g. the dashboard camera and the heated steering wheel designed by BMW. There are fuse slots that have power only when the car is switched to ignition, and BMW sorted them as terminal 15. There is only one such fuse slot on Carl’s car and it’s already occupied by the dashboard camera. We are going to extend terminal 15 with electrical relays for the heated steering wheel retrofit.
