En Algérie, Zouina (Fejria Deliba) fait un adieu en larmes à sa mère alors qu'elle entreprend un voyage en France pour retrouver son mari. Dans une ville de province, elle tente d'élever ses trois enfants sous le regard flétri de sa belle-mère, Aicha (Rabia Mokeddem), qui insiste sur une éducation musulmane stricte. Zouina fait de son mieux pour s'assimiler, mais reste coincée entre ses proches traditionalistes et ses voisins xénophobes. Elle vit le dimanche, quand elle a quelques heures de liberté.

In Algeria, Zouina (Fejria Deliba) bids a tearful goodbye to her mother as she embarks on a voyage to France to be reunited with her husband. In a provincial town, she attempts to rear her three children under the withering glare of her mother-in-law, Aicha (Rabia Mokeddem), who insists on a strict Muslim upbringing. Zouina does her best to assimilate, but is stuck between her traditionalist relatives and her xenophobic neighbors. She lives for Sundays, when she has a few hours of freedom.

في الجزائر ، تودع زوينة (فيجريا دليبة) والدتها بالدموع وهي تشرع في رحلة إلى فرنسا لتلتقي بزوجها. في بلدة ريفية ، تحاول تربية أطفالها الثلاثة تحت وهج حماتها ، عائشة (ربيعة مقدم) ، التي تصر على تنشئة إسلامية صارمة. تبذل زوينا قصارى جهدها للاستيعاب ، لكنها عالقة بين أقاربها التقليديين وجيرانها الذين يكرهون الأجانب. تعيش أيام الأحد ، عندما يكون لديها بضع ساعات من الحرية.
