Backpacking at Buffalo National River in Arkansas | Hiking the GOAT TRAIL & Camping Below Big Bluff

Hello, thanks for watching our video! We enjoyed some unseasonably cooler temperatures for August by doing one of our favorite hikes, the Goat Trail. The Goat Trail is an amazing trail that you can get to easiest by parking at the Centerpoint Trailhead just north of Ponca, it's one of the more famous trails in Arkansas so try to plan a time when it shouldn't be too busy (later in the day/weekday/offseason). As you can see we had the whole bluff to ourselves by arriving later in the day, if you bring gear to camp with then you can stay even later out there!
