Cassis, a small coastal town nestled between dramatic cliffs and the Mediterranean Sea, is famous for its vibrant fishing port and the striking Calanques. With a population of just over 7,000, this picturesque gem is a true haven for seafood lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Calanques, a series of rocky inlets, offer some of the most breathtaking hiking and swimming spots in the Mediterranean. Don't forget to sip on the local Cassis wine while you take in the stunning views.
Our next stop takes us to the bustling port city of Marseille, France's second-largest city, with a population of nearly 900,000. Marseille is renowned for its diverse culture, vibrant markets, and mouthwatering seafood. Be sure to visit the Old Port (Vieux-Port) and indulge in some delicious bouillabaisse, a local fish stew.
