This videos takes you through to the unique writing approach to demonstrate the critical thinking ability which is vital to passing the ACCA Strategic Business Leader/SBL exam from 2024 onwards.
The SBL exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes, with 3 questions and 4-5 exihibits (unseen information) on the exam date. The questions will be based on the preseen material case information which is released two weeks before the actual exam.
The unique writing approach is as follows: for each point in the answer, there should be a combination of direction (Point + reason/implications/risk/advice - pick 2 out of these 4) PLUS Contents (information from the preseen or unseen information)
This video also takes you through the latest examiner' report highlighting past students' performance that most students failed this paper due to unable to show in depth analysis, ie not using the above unique approach of writing. This is why as always, application would be important in this paper.
