There are times when the rivers are high or in sections particularly fast flowing where you just have to get a heavy fly down to the fish. Often sacrificial flies are used to get takeable flies down to the right depth. What if you are fishing a venue with a one fly only rule? Well there are options but I am going to save that for another video. This is a big bug tied primarily for Grayling in the winter. I am sure it would be a hearty meal for a hungry Brown trout if given the opportunity.
