We discuss Behr's childhood in the Bronx, his childhood dream to be a horse, pursuing a career as an actor, this thoughts on mentors, running off to deep cleanse in Europe before heading to LA and building his epic writing career. He talks about his stint with Star Trek: TNG, his time on Star Trek: DS9 and his documentary about that time: "What We Left Behind". His unpublished novel and the Spanish Civil War.
