Raw footage of Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson's final push of The Dawn Wall on Saturday, December 27, 2014.
During our winter holiday in Yosemite, we were fortunate to be at the base of El Capitan at the right time. Tommy and Kevin arrived at the base of the climb late afternoon and began climbing at around 2:20pm. With a crowd of three at the base, myself, my husband and another onlooker, we witnessed this historic event that redefined what is possible in the realm of freeing big wall climbs.
