Usually Torklift StableLoads do not require drilling but when they do, we would like to offer you a how-to video on drilling the leaf springs.
For the StableLoads that require drilling, a set of four cobalt drill bits are provided. It's necessary to drill at a low RPM with significant constant pressure to properly drill the leaf springs. As clearly shown in the video, this StableLoad installation was done by hand as have thousands of other prior installations.
Allow for approximately one hour to drill the four required holes by hand. If you are unsure of drilling these springs yourself, Torklift recommends professional installation or the free rental of our StableLoad drill tool. How to drill a leaf spring in seconds
