Thrand test a 105# English Longbow on 32 layers of Linen cloth gambeson armor, historical Maille armor riveted and solid stamped steel rings ever other row 17 gauge 6mm rings and a 15th century munitions grade breast plate 14 gauge steel. Thrand also uses proper Medieval arrow heads to test the armor such as Bodkins and leaf razor head. This is all done to the theme of the iconic Yoeman or English Longbowmen who led to the legends such as Robin Hood to find out if the famed archer history was close match to that of fantasy and legend. This is also Thrand's version of ARROW vs ARMOUR like Tod's Work Shop did is a most historical manner and got about the same results but used a thicker breast plate. Thrand's breast plate would be equal to the sides of the one tested on that episode.
