A straight inboard, diesel burning boat, the Ranger Tugs R-31 S "pocket yacht" shares many of the features and qualities of her smaller sister ships but with some notable additions. This (relatively) larger model Ranger Tug is ideal for extended cruising, while still being considered a trailerable trawler. In addition to great foredeck seating, the R-31 boasts a larger cockpit area with wraparound fold-out seating. The interior layout of the R-31 S features two staterooms—one large island berth forward with en suite head and a midship berth and day head. Those who are familiar with Ranger Tugs models will recognize the galley layout and helm station that maximize interior space. A starboard side door provides easy access from the helm to the side decks so crew can get to the bow for line handling. Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters, Volvo D4 320 HP engine (16 knot cruise speed) and a full galley (propane stove, oven/broiler, sink, refrigerator combo, microwave). She's also equipped an off-grid cruising 160W solar panel with inverter, AGM batteries, air conditioning/heating, autopilot, Garmin electronics, trim tabs, full color electric controls, downrigger plugs and pads, LED lights and a macerator dishcharge.
