Yegor goes to Israel. Anya was refused a visa, so he leaves alone.
Kira’s employer leaves for a vacation with her children, and Kira is to maintain the household alone, without any servants, left with the master. She suddenly gets a call from Nikolay Nikolayevich. She promises to come to her this night and asks her to open the window in children’s bedroom. The master’s deal is called off and he is going to fly to his family the following morning, spending the evening at his place with a prostitute. It turns out that from his Prague trip he brought not just souvenirs but the passport of a prostitute who is supposed to come tonight. He tells Kira to find the passport. Kira recognizes her younger sister Lika in the photo. The passport confirms her suspicions.
Kira goes to bed. At night, Nikolay Nikolayevich breaks into the house. He puts Kira to sleep with chloroform and she hardly understands what’s happening. She is awakened by the ringing landline – the mistress cannot reach the master. Kira goes to the master’s bedroom so that he could talk to his wife on the phone but sees that he is dead and Lika disappeared. In shock, Kira runs away from the house. She comes back to her husband and tells Maxim about everything that happened. Maxim promises to help her if Kira comes back to him. Kira agrees to everything. Maxim promises to say that she spent that night with him.
In the morning, Kira comes back to her employers’ house. The police and… Nikolay Nikolayevich are already there. He grabs Kira and offers her to run away with him. Kira persuades Nikolay Nikolayevich to let her go. After her return to the house, she is questioned by the police. Due to confusion in names, she attracts a lot of suspicion. Kira becomes the main suspect. Maxim is called to the police to testify. Maxim says that he and Kira separated several months ago, and Kira ran away with Nikolay Nikolayevich.
Sveta moves house. Seryozha and Svetlana hurriedly talk about their relationship and Sveta leaves in a rush.
Anya is urgently called to Israel embassy.
