Excel Sumif Dates by Month and Year

This video exhibits how one can use the SUMIFS Function to summarize and group Full Date Criteria Fields by Month and Year in Excel.  This is achieved by creating 2 criteria values off the same date range criteria column.  The 1st  criteria begins with the first day of the month while the 2nd criteria is the last day of the month.  Greater than/ Less Than & and Equal to symbols are then concatenated in front of the two criteria values.
