Editing Journey:
Hobbs and Shaw is no doubt my favorite film by Dwayne Johnson. Its a treat to make trailer 5 despite no more deleted scenes to include like last time. Fortunately I came up with the idea of making the highlight a bar fight using fight scene of Jason from WILD CARD and Dwayne from SKYSCRAPER. I started showing clips of Jason driving a McLaren clip of him from Hobbs and Shaw red carpet. The McLaren ofcourse is part of the franchise so I also add this car. Then to create the bar fight I started with bad guys entering clip from THE DROP. Then I made Hobbs enter the scene using clip from his gym workout.
Vanessa Kirby didn't have much spotlight but I was able to add her in the scene with "Is there a room for one more?" implying she can fight too. "Let's go back and finish our meals" line from RED NOTICE was great at making Hobbs talk to the bad guys. For Jason fight scene clip there was a music so I muted that and added sound effects instead. "I researched you" line from Edris was edited from WILD CARD, its not actually him talking I simply lowered the voice to make it sound like him. I chose the F9 music to bring the fast and furious vibe. Of course we have to see motorcycle scenes as well which I added. This may not top the previews versions but it turn out still pretty good.
