How to Operate an APU Unit

Proper Shut Off is Essential, otherwise you really shorting the life span of your APU.  
1)Place Knob on Fan wait for Air to Stop Blowing only then shut it off
2) or its better to shut it off with your Key in the ignition if first option is not convenient.
