American actress Gabourey Ridley Sidibe was born on 6 May 1983, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, New York City, of part-Senegalese ancestry through her father, and is an actress, probably best known for her debut title role as Claireece "Precious" Jones in the movie "Precious", directed by Lee Daniels.
