Chemical Process Simulation: Linking Aspen Plus User Model and MATLAB by Excel

This video covers how to use Aspen Plus user model capability to insert your own developed simulation by another software, such as MATLAB, inside the Aspen Plus flowsheet. You may also use Aspen Custom Modeler or other methods. However, in this video a model developed by MATLAB is linked to Aspen Plus with the help of Excel to dynamically exchange data. Since this is a Dynamic Data Exchange between different software, the integration of model with other built-in equipment in Aspen Plus, sensitivity analysis, and optimizations can be conducted while all three software are linked.
