How are we connected to biodiversity, and why does it matter? High school science teacher Mary Beth Nawor explores the value of wildness in the world. Is it worth preserving or increasing?
Mary Beth has been teaching Environmental Science at Lake Forest High School for over 20 years, sharing her love of the natural sciences and nature. Her passion is teaching and sharing what she’s learned with her family and students. When not teaching you can find her working in her garden and volunteering with conservation organizations. She aspires to increase awareness of the physical and mental benefits of integrating nature into our daily lives.
