Here are the origins of the enemies in Sonic Mania.  Footage for all these games were recorded on a PlayStation 4, Wii U & Switch.  All footage was recorded at 1080p & 60fps.  Footage of Knuckles' Chaotix (1995) was taken from the YouTube channel:
