Driving a Stanley Steamer steam-powered car

Bill Barnes of Barnes Machine Shop in Lewistown, Pa.,  has owned six Stanley Steamer vehicles since buying his first at age 19. He has worked on dozens more. In 2017, he was recognized by Jay Leno and made an appearance on Jay Leno's Garage, letting Leno ride one of his Stanley Steamers. He holds the world record for land speed of a steam-powered vehicle. PennLive's Katie Schreckengast, Miss Pennsylvania 2017, visited Barnes and got to drive a Stanley Steamer around town.
