Just a quick video showing how I installed SumoSprings on my 2016 Ford Transit XLT350 Passenger Van.  The front was super easy and only took a few minutes after lifting the van up a bit.  Because of my lift, I put the CoilSumoSprings with the opening facing in.  The team at SuperSprings approved this modification to the installation because of the different angle of my springs/struts caused by the offset spacer at the top pushing it closer to the frame/body of the van.  The front Tires used to rub a little bit when doing tight turns or turning over bumps and to my surprise, that hasn't happened at all since I put these Coil Sumo Springs in place.

On the rear, this is basically a longer softer bump stop / Rubber 'Spring' that will help with stability and better ride height when loaded or towing.  This is a great alternative to air bags and does not require any maintenance after installation.  I decided to remove the 2" bump stop extensions that I had in place as a part of the lift kit.  They recommend 1/2" - 1" space under the SumoSpring to the contact point on the axle.  By using both the 1" and 1/2" spacers in the kit, it looks like I have about 1/2" of space now.  I could've probably gotten away with only the 1" spacer, but I liked the idea of having it closer to the axle contact point and thought it might help prevent the body roll and/or rear end sag when loaded.  I am very happy with how I set it up and it's working great.

If you have a heavy rig, or want better handling with reduced sway, sag, and a ride that is less harsh without being too firm, I would recommend you pick these up.

Thank you to SuperSprings for reaching out and sending these to me.

From the website:
"Coil SumoSprings are made from the same material as our other SumoSprings products – a micro-cellular polyurethane that decreases vibration, stabilizes sway, and tightens up your existing factory coils. This upgrade adds up to 30% additional capacity to your coils, creating a cushion effect and stopping unwanted dip and roll.
Rear SumoSprings are a maintenance-free suspension enhancement built to create a better journey. Handmade from micro-cellular polyurethane, they are designed to reduce rear-end sag and increase load carrying ability while decreasing vibration, stabilizing sway, and softening harsh rebounds.

The SSR-121-40 has a 1,000 lb capacity when compressed at 50%. The Blue SumoSprings shouldn’t be compressed past 70% of their original height in order to keep full memory rebound."

Tools needed:
13mm socket and ratchet and/or wrench if you have the stock rear bump stops
17mm sockets and extensions and ratchets or impacts
Torque wrench
