Meet Dr. Matthew Scripps, a family physician with Inova Medical Group - Gainesville, that knows it is important that his patients can talk to him about anything and they start to feel better after they see him. He loves getting to know the entire family!
Dr. Scripps has more than 7 years of family medicine experience and is board certified in family medicine. He has a special interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, pediatrics and dermatology. He also performs osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Scripps previously practiced in Fauquier County. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Scripps always wanted to be a doctor but decided to practice family medicine after working with a family medicine physician during a rotation in medical school. He was so impressed with her broad medical knowledge that he too wanted to know "something about everything." One of the favorite parts of his job is helping people feel better by making them laugh. His hobbies include spending time with his family and participating in sports and photography.
Accepts all major commercial insurances and Medicare Part B.
