In this video I give a brief overview of the overt and covert ways white supremacy operates in the U.S., in order to keep Black people from becoming full citizens.

This video is a basic 101 conversation for people both in the U.S., who don’t know the history of the government’s racist policies against Black people, as well as people outside of the U.S., who need an introductory video into some of the many ways Black people have been oppressed.

I've made this video to make more people understand why Black people are looting, rioting, and protesting.

This video is one in a three part series I’m doing on white supremacy and anti-Black racism. I thought this video would be a good introduction and jumping off point to the topic, as the next two topics require this basic knowledge.

I also encourage everyone to read and listen to Black voices and activists, who have been speaking out against the government for years.

The next video in this series will be about anti-Blackness in the Asian American community and larger Asian diaspora, and the third video will be about Gone With the Wind.

Pease subscribe to see the continuation of this series. I post here every Friday at 6pm EST and I hope to see you there. Please share your thoughts in the comments down below.
